Earlier this week we hosted an evening of beauty for our friends at Project Worthmore—a nonprofit working to improve the quality of life for Denver-area refugees through cultural mentorship and community support.
Founded in 2011 by Frank and Carolyn Anello, the organization addresses the unmet needs of Denver's refugee community by assisting with everything from registering children for school to going grocery shopping to learning English. Their team works out of PWM's headquarters in Aurora—which is also home to their dental clinic—as well as the DeLaney Community Farm.
We were honored to have them visit our space and share their stories with us. To find out more about Project Worthmore and to volunteer your services, visit them online.
